How we work
We keep it to a few steps. You tell us about the car, we give you an offer by phone, and if you accept, we come and get it with our own tow truck, loading it right where it's parked. The tow is free and nothing comes off your offer for it. You're paid when the car is loaded, by cash, Zelle or Cash App, whichever you prefer.
Our phone is answered and pickups are booked any hour, any day of the week. Same-day pickup is often possible, though we never promise a window we can't keep; we agree on a time with you.
What we're careful about
Papers. Illinois law requires a scrap buyer to get proof of ownership and record two IDs from a private seller. We ask about papers before we send a truck so nobody's time is wasted, and we won't tell you papers don't matter.
Offers. We don't post a price list, because one number can't fit every car. We quote the car you actually have, and the price holds at pickup if the car matches the description.
Local rules. We read the village codes for the towns we serve, so we can tell you how long a dead car may sit in your driveway and what the snow rules are. Those are in our articles, each with links to the source.
